These terms govern your use of Pocket Extrovert. By using the app, you agree to them. We've kept them short and in plain language. Pocket Extrovert is currently in beta (TestFlight).

What Pocket Extrovert is

Pocket Extrovert is a private, personal tool for remembering the people in your life. It has three modes:

Pocket Extrovert is a tool for being a better neighbor, friend, and colleague. Use it in that spirit.

Using Pocket Extrovert

You agree to use Pocket Extrovert lawfully and responsibly. Specifically, you agree not to:

Your data is yours

You own everything you enter into Pocket Extrovert — the houses, people, pets, friends, work contacts, notes, and life events all belong to you. The app stores your data on your device and in your own private iCloud; we don't keep a copy on our servers, and we don't use your data for anything. You can delete it at any time.

Signing in

Pocket Extrovert uses Sign in with Apple. There's no separate account with us to manage — your data is tied to your Apple ID and your iCloud. You can stop using the app and remove your data at any time by deleting the app and clearing its data from your iCloud.

Apple services

Pocket Extrovert relies on Apple services, and your use of the app is also subject to Apple's terms:

Sharing

In Neighbors mode, you can share neighborhood data with people you explicitly invite to a shared space. Anyone you invite can see what you've shared with them, so be thoughtful about it. Friends and Work data is private to you and is never shared with others.

Reminders

In Friends mode, you can set reach-out reminders ("nudges"). These are scheduled as local notifications on your device based on intervals you choose. You can adjust or turn them off at any time in the app, or disable notifications in your device settings.

The service as provided

Pocket Extrovert is in beta and is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it running well, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or unchanged — features may change or be removed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pocket Extrovert and Finite, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed $50.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Pocket Extrovert after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Washington.
